ENFIELD, Conn. — Jeanine Therese Beaupre (Grenier), 88, of Dale Road, Enfield, Conn., and loving widow of Richard R. Beaupre, passed away Thursday, Nov. 9, at her home with her loving family at her bedside. She was born Aug. 8, 1929 (came in with the crash), in Auburn, to the late Thomas and Bernadette (Goulet) Grenier. Jeanine lived in Boston, Mass., as a toddler and was raised in Lewiston. She treasured her youthful days helping her mom and sincerely loved her 17 siblings. A conscientious scholar, Jeanine graduated from Lewiston High School in 1947. She left Lewiston in her early 20s, with only a little brown suitcase, for Hartford, Conn., where she found employment at Royal Typewriter. She married her love, Richard Beaupre, on July 31, 1954. They moved to their Enfield home in 1958, and together raised their eight children. Jeanine exemplified faith, family and love, and lived to serve the needs of others. A great storyteller, Jeanine fondly shared her tales while caring for her home and family. Jeanine loved tending to the flowers in her grotto. Jeanine was a founding parishioner and devout communicant of Holy Family Church in Enfield.
