Jeannette N. Bedard


AUBURN – Jeannette N. Bedard, 91, passed away Friday, Jan. 12, at Clover Health Care Facility in Auburn.

She was born on July 1, 1915, daughter of Pierre and Marie Anne (Landry) Nadeau.

On June 1, 1935, she married Henry Bedard at St. Mary’s Church in Lewiston.

Previous to her retirement, she worked as a shoe inspector for various local shoe manufacturers.

She enjoyed listening to music and singing. She also was a very competitive card player and enjoyed taking on all comers. Her life was her home and family.

She is survived by her daughter, Constance and son-in-law, Edward Wall, of Lisbon; a granddaughter, Christine Wall-Lacombe of Lisbon; a grandson, Edward Wall II and his companion, Karen Weber of Lisbon; four great-grandchildren, Katelyn Lacombe, Richard Lacombe, Jacob Wall, and Tyler Wall; and a sister, Murielle Ouellette and her husband, Raymond, of Sun City Ctr., Florida.

She was predeceased by her husband of 70 years, who passed away in January 2006; her parents; and a brother and three sisters.
