1936 – 2014
AUBURN — Joseph Mitchell Jeselskis III, 78, of Mechanic Falls, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, Dec. 11, with family by his side.
He was born in Dixfield on April 6, 1936, a son of the late Joseph and Isabelle Jeselskis. He was raised in Mexico and resided in Mechanic Falls with his late longtime companion, Doris Moffett.
Joe enjoyed his family, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed yard sales. He was a dedicated worker and set a good example for his family. Joe worked for many construction companies prior to retiring from Shaw Brother’s Construction Co. in 1996. Joe was affectionately known as “Old Joe” or “Dozer Joe” on job sites.
He is survived by his son, Richard and wife, Diane, of Buckfield; daughter, Lisa and husband, Tim Robitaille, of Turner; brother, Richard, of Mexico; sister, Deborah and husband, Russell Buckingham, of Skowhegan; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two nephews; and three nieces.
He was predeceased by a son, Daniel; and a daughter, Diane.
