Karl E. Blake


ANSON – Karl Edward Blake, born Feb. 22, 1934, in Franklin, N.H., the son of Selina Lepage Blake and Leon O. Blake, died Saturday, July 21.

Living most of his life in Maine, Karl worked as a dairy farmer, apple farmer and later as a dishwasher and kitchen helper at the Grand Summit Hotel in New Hampshire.

He loved the outdoors and people, he participated in the Special Olympics, loved skiing, fishing, dancing, traveling and socializing.

Most of all he enjoyed life and helping others, a true friend to all, especially children.

He is survived by one brother, Leon O. Blake Jr. of Oxford; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
