LEWISTON — King’s Bridge Theatre will present E.B. White’s classic tale “Charlotte’s Web,” opening Friday, April 23, and running through May 1, at Pathway Vineyard Auditorium.
Adapted from the classic book, “Charlotte’s Web” weaves a tale of loyalty, friendship, truth and sacrifice. These timely and universal themes develop in a simple setting, building on story and relationships.
The play begins in a quiet country spot with Wilbur, a runt pig, facing a quick demise. Fern Arable sets out to correct this injustice. The pig is saved, but not before friendships are formed, challenges have been unitedly overcome and an enchanting story has been told.
Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Friday and at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tickets are $6, or $25 family pack (for up to five immediate family members, with a two adult maximum per pack). Each additional child is $3. For tickets, call 784-9500 or go online to www.kingsbridgetheatre.org. Tickets may also be purchased at the door the night of the show.
Pathway Vineyard Auditorium is at 12 Foss Road.
