LaFlamme to discuss new novel at library

AUBURN – Auburn Public Library, 49 Spring St., will hold a book discussion at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, on the first novel published by Mark LaFlamme, “The Pink Room.”

LaFlamme is an award-winning columnist with the Sun Journal. He will join the library’s monthly book discussion group to talk about his new novel.

A blend of science and terror, it is a story of love and loss, twice over. Set in the furthest reaches of Maine, “The Pink Room” unfolds as best-selling novelist and recent widower Jonathan Cain discovers what Theodore Currie, a leading physicist and expert on string theory, tragically learned before him, that “The Pink Room is a place where lost loves come home. And you can’t send them back.”

For more information or to register to attend and meet LaFlamme, call the Auburn Public Library at 333-6640.
