Suppers slated for Oct. 9, 16.
WALES – On Oct. 14, Lakeside Chapter No.60 will meet at the Grange/Masonic Hall, 322 Centre Road, at 7 p.m. for its official visit with the grand conductress, Julieanne B. Irving.
The District 4 “Traveling Cuddlies,” a teddy bear and a moose, symbolizing the Grand Chapter Charity Fund and the Fight For the Cure of Alzheimer’s, have traveled from Pine Cone Chapter in Auburn to Casco Chapter in Freeport, and are now in Golden Sheaf Chapter of New Gloucester. The district is busy enjoying the bounteous harvest of the season. The next ESTARL supper will be on Oct. 9 at Pine Cone No. 26 in Auburn, and on Oct. 16 members will journey to Pioneer No. 11 in Lisbon Falls for their ESTARL suppers. These suppers help fund the ESTARL Scholarship.
Lakeside members are reminded that pet food for cats, dogs, kitties and puppies is being requested for Lakeside’s October meeting as one of the worthy grand matron and worthy grand patron’s community projects.
Ladies officers are asked to wear colored gowns, gentlemen either tuxes or dark suits. Refreshments will be provided by Sonia, Woody and Judy.
