Leeroy A. Rose


PHOENIX, Ariz. — Leeroy Allan Rose, 63, died at his residence in Phoenix, Ariz., Tuesday, April 20.

He was born Dec. 1, 1946, in Rumford, a son of Francis Sumner Rose and Mary Teresa Bulger and graduated from Mexico High School, Class of 1965, where he enjoyed participating in sports and the fellowship of his peers. He was also a good clarinet player and spent four years in the high school band.

Throughout his life, Lee worked as an electrician. During the Vietnam War, he proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy Nuclear Power Division from 1968, until he was honorably discharged in 1974.

He loved nature, camping, hunting and fishing, exploring and photography. When hunting he enjoyed his yellow labs “Colt and Cassie.”

Survivors include his brother, Douglas F. Rose of Oquossoc; a niece, Rhondi Beth Reardon and husband, Thomas Reardon Jr. and their children and beloved extended family of Phoenix, Ariz.

He was predeceased by his parents.
