Leona F. Perron
1923 – 2010
LEWISTON — Leona F. Perron, 87, passed away Friday, Feb. 26, with her family by her side.
She was born in Lewiston, Jan, 5, 1923, to Edward and Annie Martin-Roy. In August 2009, she celebrated 60 years of marriage to Marcel Perron. The two were married Aug. 27, 1949, and together raised two children, David and Linda.
She was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a great cook and one of her favorite pastime was to shop. She also had a great sense of style, whether it be decorating the house or dressing for an event. She took pleasure in spending time with her grandchildren and more recently, great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband, Marcel Perron; her son, David Perron and wife, Faith, of Lisbon; her daughter, Linda Paradis and husband, Rand, of Lewiston; her granddaughter, Carly Conley, her husband, Martin and daughter, Madison, of Lewiston; her granddaughter, Alisa Saucier, her husband, Jeffrey and children, Cole and Miles of Sabattus; her grandson, Samuel Paradis of Auburn; her grandson, Justin Perron, his wife, Kasey and daughter, Hayleigh of Lisbon Falls; her granddaughter, Amber Perron and son, Kelvin of Lisbon; and her grandson, Caleb Perron of Lisbon.
She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Leo, Marcel and George; and sister, Gertrude.
She was very loved and will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
