RUMFORD — Leonard E. Paquette, 72, of Prospect Avenue, Rumford, died Saturday, May 8, at the Rumford Hospital with his family by his side.
He was born in Rumford, Sept. 2, 1937, the son of Leo and Eva (Arsenault) Paquette, and had attended Mexico schools.
He served with the U.S. Army, Department of Defense from 1955 to 1959.
He had been employed at Wang Laboratories in Massachusetts, as a computer technician and then at Dixie Metals in Florida, until retirement.
Survivors include son, David Paquette of Lewiston; daughters, Andrea Atton of Dracut, Mass., and Michelle Ramsey of New Britain, Conn.; a sister, Jeannette Coburn of Rochester, N.H.; a brother, Raymond Paquette of Fort Myers, Fla.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
