AUBURN — Leroy M. Titus, 87, of Norway died at the Androscoggin Hospice House on Tuesday, May 18.
He was born in South Paris, June 18, 1922, the son of Leroy W. and Eva (Andrews) Titus. He had served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II and had worked as a salesman with McCulloch Chain Saw for many years.
He was a member of the A.F. & A.M. of Belfast; Anah Temple Shrine of Bangor and the American Legion Post of South Paris.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Virginia (Huson) Titus of Norway; one son, Jeffrey Andrews Titus and his wife, Ramona, of Cape Elizabeth; three daughters, Dianne Cunningham and her husband, Charles, of Jacksonville, N.C., Sheryl Rainbolt and her husband, John, of Harrah, Okla., and Arleile Minigell and her husband, Laurie, of Minot; one sister, Gertrude Carroll of Greensboro, N.C.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
