1951 – 2014
PORTLAND — Following a brief illness, Lewis W. Marston passed away in Portland on Saturday, Nov. 22, with his family by his side.
Born May 7, 1951, a son of Lloyd and Jean Marston of Norway, he grew up in South Paris, graduating from Oxford Hills High School and the Auburn School of Commerce, majoring in accounting.
On July 24, 1974, and again on Jan. 26, 2014, he married Julie (Williams) Marston, and they raised two children.
In his free time, he enjoyed playing cribbage with his co-workers, chatting on the fair circuit and spending time with his special granddaughter, “Ali Bear.”
Lewis was a hardworking father and husband, and he cherished every moment with his friends and family when he wasn’t working at the Southern Maine Flea Market, which he was a co-owner of.
Lewis is survived by his wife, Julie, of Old Orchard Beach; a son, Patrick, of Oxford; a daughter, Dina and her husband, Chris Poulin, of Norway; a granddaughter, Alexandra Poulin; and an aunt, June Marston, of Canton.
He was predeceased by his parents, Lloyd and Jean Marston; a brother, Greg Marston; and an aunt, Alma Marston.
