Summer camps

TURNER — SAD 52 Adult and Community Education will offer a variety of summer sports and camps and some of them begin June 14. They include: Leavitt Area High School girls’ and boys’ basketball, field hockey, football and boys’ and girls’ soccer camps. Participants are urged to sign up early to secure a spot.

Union cemetery

DURHAM — Members of the Union Cemetery Association will meet at 6 p.m. Sunday, May 23, in the vestry of the First Congregational Church of Durham. The Union Cemetery is located on Riverside Drive in Auburn.

Dog obedience

AUBURN — The Great Falls Dog Obedience Club will begin a six-week dog obedience class on Wednesday, May 26. Dogs and puppies must be at least 3 1/2-months-old and vaccinated.

Empty nest

LISBON — The Lisbon High School Guidance Department will hold an “Empty Nest” program, for parents of seniors, at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, in the school library. The Guidance Department will offer hints and information on how to handle the transition from high school and home to college.
