Lewiston company acquires PRC Technologies


LEWISTON — On Feb. 5, PRC Technologies of Standish officially became part of Budget Document Technology, which maintains offices in Lewiston and Bangor. The acquisition offers more resources, products and services to clients.

PRC Technologies has been a Maine-based company providing printer supplies and service for all major manufacturers since 1992. PRC is also an authorized Hewlett Packard business partner, provides clients with Web-based ordering, a recycling program, and offers the environmentally friendly SoyPrint line of toner supplies.

Budget Document Technology was established in 1989 and is locally owned by Thomas G. Ouellette and Steven J. Ouellette. BDT is a fully authorized dealership marketing Konica Minolta and Kyocera digital imaging products. It offers managed print services and software solutions for document storage and retrieval.
