Between June 29 and July 2 at 7 a.m. this department has responded to 316 calls for service. Of those calls, 75 of them were Motor Vehicle Stops.

Criminal Mischief

A vehicle parked at Grimmel’s at 198 Blake St. had screws put into all four tires overnight June 28-29.

The rear window of a vehicle parked at 256 East Ave. was smashed out with a piece of tar between 9:30 p.m. on June 29 and 8 a.m. on June 30.

A vehicle parked at 56 Birch St. had a tire slashed overnight June 29-30.

The Getty Mart at 515 Lisbon St. was tagged with graffiti overnight June 30 – July 1.

A vehicle parked at 235 Lincoln St. had its windshield damaged by BBs overnight June 30 – July 1.


Copper grounding wire was stolen from the phone pole at 44 Barron Ave. sometime prior to June 30.

Sometime between June 23 and June 30, two rolls of chain link fencing was stolen from AA Storage at 7 Finale Way.

A bicycle was stolen from outside of 20 Knox St. prior to 3 p.m. on June 30.

An antique model train set was stolen from outside of 391 Webster St. on July 1 at 9 a.m.



An apartment at Hillview was burglarized on July 1 at 8 p.m. by some children who stole two bags of chips. The residence was unlocked.

Federal Express at 23 Forrestal St. had an attempted burglary occur on June 30 at 2:38 p.m. An employee arrived at the business to find the alarm sounding and a garage door that had been pried open by a crow bar. No property was taken.

Operating Under the Influence Arrest

David Hopkins (22) was arrested for operating under the influence on June 30 at 12:23 a.m. at Farwell St./Sabattus St. The vehicle was stopped after an officer following behind it noticed erratic operation.

Operating After Suspension Arrest

Brandon Mayo (20) was arrested for operating after suspension and attaching false plates on June 30 at 10 p.m. at 553 Main St. The vehicle was stopped after the plates were run and came back on a different vehicle than what they were attached to.

Disorderly Arrests

Jessica Anderson (24) was arrested for disorderly conduct and Belinda Anderson (51) was arrested for assault on July 1 at 2:30 a.m. at 89 Walnut St. Officers were called to the address for a report of loud verbal argument on the front porch. When officers arrived they were met by Belinda who began yelling at them and told them to leave. She eventually pushed an officer in an attempt to get them to go. Jessica became very disorderly and started punching a wall, she continued to kick and punch the windows of the cruiser after her arrest.

Domestic Assault Arrest

Jaime Rodriguez (31) was arrested for domestic assault on July 1 at 11:30 p.m. at 145 Park St. Officers responded to the area for a report of a female being dragged by her hair that was yelling for help. Upon arrival, they found the victim had been assaulted. The suspect became very disorderly and tried to fight with officers before being pepper sprayed.
