 Incident Report Statistics

Between 7 a.m. Friday, March 26, and 7 a.m. Friday, April 2, Lewiston police responded to 599 calls for service. Of those calls, 148 were motor vehicle stops.

Motor vehicle burglaries

A vehicle parked at 171 Oak St. was burglarized on April 1 at 7 p.m. by a white male, average height, wearing a gray T-shirt, gray shorts, and a ball cap. He left on foot toward the Union Street Market.

A vehicle parked at 229 Lisbon St. was burglarized at 8:45 p.m. on March 29. A Garmin GPS was taken from inside. The suspect broke the passenger-side window with a rock.

A vehicle parked at 260 Lisbon St. was burglarized prior to 9:30 p.m. on March 29, a purse was taken from inside.


Officers responded to the Irish Twins Pub at 743 Main St. on April 2 at 4:45 a.m. for an activated alarm. Upon arrival they found a male subject running down the railroad tracks headed out of town and evidence of an attempted burglary to the building.

A residence at 19 Crowley Road had some damage done to a garage entry door during an apparent attempted burglary that occurred prior to 5:30 p.m. on March 26.

An apartment at 386 Lincoln St. was burglarized between 10:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. on March 26. A 26-inch LCD TV, Dell laptop, and 17 DVDs were taken from inside.


A black, 18-foot 2007 Sure-Trac Flatbed Trailer, Maine trailer license B145480 was stolen from Lawnguard Lawncare at 1046 Main St. overnight March 30-March 31. It is made of black metal with a wood bed.

A gray 12-speed bicycle with white and red lettering and a horn on the handlebars was stolen from the porch of 90 Elm St. overnight March 28-March 29.

A jacket and wallet were stolen from the Gray Cage at 124 Central Ave. prior to 8:30 p.m. on March 28.

A Sector 9, yellow, gold, red and blue skateboard was stolen from the Bates College Dining Facility between 5:45 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on March 28.

Someone has been stealing packages that are being delivered to 10 Greene St. This occurs prior to 6 p.m.

A vehicle parked at 48 Laurier St. had its inspection sticker stolen prior to 2:30 p.m. on March 26.

A silver gas powered homemade bicycle was stolen from 13 Lincoln Dr. overnight March 31-April 1.

3 Hewlett-Packard computers, 3 Dell computers, and 4 monitors were stolen from the breakroom of Pine Tree Telemarketing at 134 Main St. sometime between 4 p.m. on March 29 and 10 a.m. on March 30.


Bobby Brown, 24, is wanted on a warrant charging unpaid fines for operating after suspension.

Gloria Bryant, 32, is wanted on a warrant charging unpaid fines for disorderly conduct.

Matthew Dunlop, 21, is wanted on a warrant charging unpaid fines for assault.
