FARMINGTON — A Franklin County grand jury indicted three people Thursday accused of robbing a 75-year-old man at his home on June 28.

The grand jury indicted Amanda J. Cote, 38, Eric S. Hafford, 34, both of Livermore Falls, and Daniel J. Leet, 33, of Lewiston on felony charges of robbery and burglary. Cote was also indicted on a felony charge of hindering apprehension or prosecution. Hafford and Leet were also indicted on charges of felony theft by unauthorized taking and a misdemeanor charge of criminal restraint.

Police say the man had his hands tied behind his back and was made to lie facedown on the bed while intruders went through his home. A valuable coin collection, the man’s wallet and cellphone were taken in the robbery, Jay Detective Michael Mejia previously said. The man’s debit card was used to get $516 at two different ATMs and 530 coins totaling more than $200 were cashed in in Lewiston and Auburn.

Hafford is being held on $50,000 cash bail and Leet on $25,000 cash bail at the Franklin County jail. Cote is free on a state pretrial agreement.
