Lewiston native given Star Award


WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Lewiston native Kandice Archibald Sage, director of accounting, has received the 2005 Rising Star Award for the Piedmont Club of Winston-Salem, N.C., part of the ClubCorp family.

The Rising Star Award is given to employees with under 12 months of service, who have done outstanding work. Sage, a Lewiston native, is one of 39 employees in the Business and Sports Club division to be recognized as a Rising Star.

The Piedmont Club, founded in 1987, is one of the 60 plus business and sports clubs owned and operated by ClubCorp. Founded in 1957, Dallas-based ClubCorp has affiliates that own or operate nearly 170 golf courses, country clubs, private business and sports clubs, and resorts. ClubCorp has approximately $1.5 billion in assets.

Sage is the daughter of Cindy Raymond and Al Martin of Sabattus, and Tim and Kathy Archibald of Lewiston. She is a 2002 graduate of Thomas College in Waterville with a degree in accounting.

She lives in Jonesville, N.C., with her husband, Chris, and their son, Chris.
