AUBURN — The Auburn Public Library and the Lewiston Career Center will partner to offer a two-session workshop designed to give job seekers the skills they need to make their job search successful.
The first session, “Job Searching,” will demonstrate how to conduct an effective job search by understanding how employers advertise and which search methods lead to success.
The second session, “Resume Basics and Interview Skills,” will focus on the dos and don’ts of the application process, including how to make a resume stand out, how a person can market themselves in a way that directly matches their skills to an employer’s needs and how to answer tough interview questions.
The workshop will be held at the Auburn Public Library and will be offered twice: from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Mondays, March 15 and 22, and from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Thursdays, March 18 and 25.
The workshop is free, but space is limited and advance registration is required. For more information or to register, call the library at 333-6640, ext. 4.
