Library plans activities


RANGELEY – Rangeley Public Library has announced events that have been planned during the summer.

Prose, Pies and Plants: Saturday, May 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the library.

“Poland Spring” and “Save the Rangeley Lakes” by David Richards, author of “Poland Spring,” Tuesday, June 13, at 7 p.m. at the library.

Walk-Run-Wiggle-athon: Saturday, July 1, at 9 a.m. starting at the library.

Pet Show: Thursday, July 20, at 1 p.m. at the Rangeley Town Park.

Annual Book and Bake Sale: Saturday, Aug. 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the library.

Second annual Literary Gala: Thursday, Aug. 10, at 5:30 p.m. at a location to be announced.

l’Heure de Francais (French Hour): every Thursday starting May 18 from 7 to 8 p.m. at the library.

Paws, Claws, Scales and Tales Summer Program: July 5 through Aug. 11, for children ages 3 to 9. For more information, call 864-5529.

Summer Story Hour: Tuesdays from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. July 11 through Aug. 29 at the library.
