MEXICO — The Mexico Public Library is getting ready to host a fun-filled winter incentive reading program for the whole family. Chill Out & Read! will begin Monday, Jan. 28, and will run through Thursday, Feb. 28.

The following is how the program will work for kids ages 2-12: For every book that a reader finishes, they can come in to the library and fill out a ticket with their name, phone number and title of the book to enter a gift drawing. There will be two drawings during the month-long program, on Monday, Feb. 11, and on Thursday, Feb. 28. Gift drawing prizes will be on display at the library.

For every book that a reader finishes, they can choose a small reading prize immediately upon filling out their gift drawing ticket. Prizes will include a choice of books for their age/reading level, and other various and fun treats.

Chill Out & Read! is also for adults and young adults age 13 and up. To participate, anyone over age 12 simply needs to fill out a ticket at the circulation desk with their name, phone number and book title for any book he/she reads during the duration of the program. Two prize drawings will be held during the duration of the program: Monday, Feb. 11, and Thursday, Feb. 28.
