My lifestyle

I must say that I am very disgusted with the terrifying frenzy that has broken out over gay rights. What’s with these people? Christian groups, politicians and the general public trying to decide if it’s OK if I sleep with another guy?

Well, thank you so much.

I think I’ll decide who is in my bed, with who and how I’ll spend my life. I’ve never seen so much time wasted on one issue. Guess what? Time to move on to a new issue and leave gays and lesbians alone.

Who do these people think they are?

It would help greatly if people knew what they were talking about before they judge and belittle, because if you’re not gay, you don’t know what it’s like to live like some of us do. Most, like myself, didn’t choose it. It chose us.

I’m sure there are many people (gays) who are not as lucky as I to have been accepted for being who I am. It’s sad to know that people’s own families would abandon them because of being gay, but it happens.

The homophobes and undereducated do not know how hard it is to live this lifestyle. What I’ve been through in the last three years has taken its toll.

I’m proud of who I am, and I’d stand up to fight this issue any time, anywhere. I hope this letter helps some of you realize that gays should just be equal as straights. Time to wake up.
