Lisbon High School Interact Club assists Lisbon Rotary with Thanksgiving dinner

Members of the Lisbon High School Interact Club recently volunteered their time and efforts to assist the Lisbon Rotary on Thanksgiving Day. The annual event hosted by the Lisbon Rotary Club serves Thanksgiving dinner in the Lisbon High School cafeteria for members of the Lisbon community. Twenty Interact members participated with the event by serving over 100 dinners and delivering over 50 meals to those unable to make it to the dinner. Mr. Jay Levasseur a teacher from LHS assisted the group along with teacher, Mrs. Lisa Brown, and LHS Interact Advisor; and Rotarian, Mrs. Monica Millhime, Community Resource Coordinator and LHS Advocate Advisor. Many parents, community members, members of the Boy Scouts and fellow Rotarians worked together providing a Thanksgiving for Lisbon residents. The meal was prepared by the Culinary Arts Program students from Central Maine Community College in Auburn.
