Listen to the electorate

The search for a new governor includes 10 candidates, many who are probably qualified.

The debate on the same-sex marriage issue among six candidates, and their feelings on front page of the Sun Journal (Oct. 20), made my decision to make Paul LePage my choice.

Why? Only two candidates honored the will of the electorate.

Libby Mitchell, the professional legislator, stated her support regardless of what the electorate decided. Kevin Scott and LePage said candidates should listen to the electorate, and didn’t express their feelings, one way or the other; just they honor the wishes of the electorate.

I will now vote for LePage.

I’m tired of representatives demonstrating that the people are not intelligent on issues to know how to vote.

I thank Paul LePage. He has my vote and anyone I can influence.
