Coburn of Lake Street, Sabattus, miraculously saved the life of their young playmate and neighbor, Tommy Davin, eight-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Davin Jr., shortly before noon Sunday. According to Mr. Davin, the children had been playing on a toboggan on the ice of Sabattus Lake about 30 feet from the shore when Tommy broke through at a point where the water was over his head. Michael, much smaller in stature than his friend, with the help of his sister, was successful in pulling the youngster out of the water.
