AUBURN — Lorraine Audette, 89, of Auburn, passed away on May 4, at Clover Living Center with her granddaughters-in-law, Diane Greene and Lise Greene, by her side.
She was born on March 9, 1921, in Spencer, Mass., daughter of Arthur and Mary Jane (Paul) Allaire. She was married to Roland Dupre, who passed away in 1984. While living in Spencer, she and Roland lived next door to their son, Paul, and his family, and their daughter, Andrea, and her family. She married Russell Audette in 1987, and spent many years living in Cape Cod, Mass. She moved to Maine after Russell’s death to be near her daughter, Clara.
She enjoyed playing the organ, doing crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family, especially at the family camp on Lake Manchaug. She had a great sense of humor, a zest for life and a love of shoes.
She is survived by her sister, Theresa Jalbert; son, Paul Dupre; son-in-law, Carlton Greene; grandchildren, David Greene, Douglas Greene, Robin Dupre Tebo, Michelle (Mickey) Dupre Courtmanche, Paul Dupre, Lorraine (Lori) Bombard Crook, Lana Bombard Liden, and Lisa Bombard Courchaine; 16 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her spouses; her daughters, Clara Dupre Greene and Andrea Dupre Bombard; son-in-law, Francis Bombard; daughter-in-law, Judy Dupre; and siblings, Romeo, Beatrice, Pauline, Clara and Laurette.
