AUBURN — Lorraine R. Provencher, 70, of Sabattus, passed away on May 2, at the Hospice with her loving family by her side.
She was born on April 18, 1940, in Lewiston, the daughter of Henry and Alice (Roy) Jacques.
She went to Lewiston schools and then went on to work for many years at Clark Shoe, followed by 15 years at Central Maine Medical Center, and then retired from T.D. Bank.
She met her husband, Joseph, at Clark Shoe and they went on to be married on Sept. 26, 1964. They are longtime residents of Sabattus.
She enjoyed camping and playing bingo. She was a member at Holy Cross Church.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph; daughters, Cathy Landry and husband, Peter and Tammy Hall and husband, Lawrence; sister, Theresa Sirois of Arizona; grandchildren, Joe Provencher, Katie Hall, Chad and Alex Landry; and a great-grandchild, Maddisin Mercier.
She was predecease by her parents.
