LPD vs. Bruins ‘Old Timers’ set for Dec. 19


LEWISTON — The Lewiston Police Athletic League is gearing up for its annual ever-popular hockey game with the Bruins “Old Timers.”

The game will be played at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 19, at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee.

Tickets — with cost being on a donation basis — may be purchased through East Coast Marketing Group at 432-6968 or through Lewiston Police at 513-3139.

Seating is general admission, and there will be an autograph session and giveaways.

Yearly telephone solicitation and mailings, which extend through December, are underway as well, and inquiries may be sent to Lewiston Police Detective Bill Brochu at 513-3093 or via [email protected]

PAL is a recognized nonprofit charitable organization. It has donated at least one golf cart to each high school in Androscoggin County to assist athletic directors in quickly moving medical or needed gear from field to field. PAL has also been an avid supporter of annual Easter, Halloween, and National Nite Out events.

All funds raised from this year’s annual fundraising campaign will help support requests in 2015.
