Maine Elks install officers

ROCKLAND – The Maine Elks Association elected and installed its slate of officers for the year at the 77th annual state convention May 5 to 7 at the Rockland Elks Lodge.

Installed as state president was Gregory Daniels of the Presque Isle Elks Lodge. Daniels congratulated outgoing President Elmer Berry of the Lewiston Elks Lodge 371 for his dedication to the principles of the order and for a successful year.

Also installed were: first vice president, Bruce Brunelle, Sanford; second vice president, Robert Drisko, Augusta; third vice president, Michael Powers, Houlton; secretary, Philip O’Brion, Farmington; treasurer, Roger Normandeau, Sanford; chaplain, Donald Dow, Sebasticook Valley-Pittsfield; tiler, Michael Lafrance, Presque Isle; administrative assistant, Claris Ranger, Farmington; and sergeant-at-arms, William Givens, Presque Isle. Serving as installing officer was Past State President James Ferland of the Presque Isle lodge.
