Dear Sun Spots: I would like to purchase gasoline oxygenated with ethanol instead of MTBE for environmental reasons. Is there any way to find out a list of local service stations that sell gas with 10 percent ethanol? – No Name, No Town.

Answer:
According to www.ethanolfuelcompany.com, there are currently no ethanol (E85) gas stations in this state.

Dear Sun Spots: Can you please get me either telephone numbers, addresses or both for places where I might locate ice cream mixes, gum, low-fat candy bars, all using Splenda? And, might you also find somewhere I might locate hull-less microwave popcorn, games of any kind that can be bought through the mail. Thank you. – No Name, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: How do I write to David Beckham of Real Madrid fame? I would like to get a signed photograph. Thanks. – No Name, Auburn.

Answer:
According to www.msn.foxsports.com and a recent Associated Press article, Beckham will be officially introduced as the newest member of the Los Angeles Galaxy on July 13 at the team’s stadium in Carson.

David Robert Joseph Beckham was born May 2, 1975, in Leytonstone, England. As a student in Essex, Beckham won the Bobby Charlton Soccer Skills Award at the age of 11, making his football talent evident at an early age.

In February 2007 Beckham played his last game for Real Madrid in his fourth, and last season there, ending his contract with the club in the spring of 2007. He announced that he had signed a five-year contract to play for the Los Angeles Galaxy from July 1, 2007, through June 2012. The five-year deal includes up to $10 million a year in direct salary, and with merchandising endorsements and profit-sharing could earn Beckham up to $50 million a year, and may end up worth about $250 million in five years, making him one of the highest earning athletes of all time.

He is married to Victoria, or Posh Spice as she was known when performing with the Spice Girls group. The Beckhams, who have become known as “Posh and Becks,” have three sons: Brooklyn Joseph Beckham (born 1999), Romeo James Beckham (born 2002), and Cruz David Beckham (born 2005).

Try contacting him via the team at The Home Depot Center, 18400 Avalon Blvd. Suite 200, Carson, CA 90746, 1-877-342-5299.
