AUBURN — Marcel B. Poulin Sr. of 16 Goulet St., Lewiston, died Monday, May 24, at Clover Manor Nursing Home, where he resided for the past four years.
He was born in Lewiston, May 1, 1926, the son of the late Wilfred and Marie Crepeau Poulin, he was educated in Lewiston schools. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean Conflict.
Upon his return, he married the love of his life, Carmen Reny, whom he spent 61 happy years with. During his life, he was employed by several companies in the shoe industry, retiring as foreman and supervisor.
He was a proud and active member of Holy Family Parish and served as eucharistic minister, teaching CCD and singing for funerals and in the choir. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, Holy Family Council, Third and Fourth Degree Assembly, United Commercial Travelers Club and VFW Lisbon Post 9469. Dad’s passion in life was to be a loving provider for his family. He will be sadly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carmen of Lewiston; a daughter, Diane Tracy; a son, Marcel, Jr. and his wife, Erika Poulin; three granddaughters, Tammy, Heather and Nicole; a grandson, Joshua Poulin; and seven grandchildren, Angelica, Anthony, Ashley, Isiah, Hannah, Isaac and Ethan.
