WEST PARIS — Marcia E. Buck, 87, of South Paris died Friday, April 2, at Ledgeview Living Center in West Paris. 

She was born in South Paris on June 18, 1922, the daughter of Percy and Evangeline (Woodworth) Turner.


Marcia married Edwin Buck on Sept. 28, 1942.

She served as Clerk of Courts in South Paris for many years until her retirement.

She enjoyed working in her gardens, line dancing, traveling, snowmobiling, and most of all loved and enjoyed her family. Marcia also enjoyed being a member of the Sunshine club at the Universalist Church in South Paris.

She is survived by her sons, Sherwin and his wife, Kathy, and Warren, both of South Paris; two sisters, Frances Johnson of South Paris, and Mary and her husband, Clifford Parsons; two brothers, Donald and his wife, Faye, and Robert Turner; grandchildren, Penny Blake, Shari Corriveau, Danielle Taylor and Cally Davis; and great- grandchildren, Frank Davis and Rachel Davis, Alexis Kennedy and McKenzie Blake.

She was predeceased by her husband, Edwin; a son, Allen; granddaughter, Sara; daughter-in-law, Brenda; a sister, Glenna Gay; and brothers, Richard and Franklyn.
