Marguerite M. Simoneau


Farmington – Marguerite M. Simoneau, 89, a resident of Park Street in Livermore Falls, died Wednesday, May 24, at Franklin Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Chisholm on July 3, 1916, the daughter of Joseph and Emma Babineault Arsenault and attended the schools of Jay.

On Jan. 16, 1937 she married Neree G. Simoneau at St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay. They made their home and raised their family on Jewell Street in Jay. He passed away on April 13, 1984.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker who cherished her time raising her children. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay and a member of the VFW, Frank L. Mitchell, Post 3335 Auxiliary of Jay. She enjoyed working around her home.

She is survived by two sons, Neree N. Simoneau of Wilton and Emile Simoneau and his wife, Marie, of Greenville; five grandchildren, Debra Allen and her husband, Eugene, Julie Simoneau, Wendy Simoneau, Mickey Simoneau and his wife, Darlene and Tim Simoneau and his wife, Fran; and seven great-grandchildren, Chad Simoneau, Sierra Simoneau, Brenda Allen, Lance Allen, Garrett Simoneau, Ammy Simoneau and Paul Simoneau.

She was predeceased by her husband; a son, Raymond Simoneau in 1990; a granddaughter, Cindy; and a great-granddaughter, Jessica.
