Marilyn G. Bickford

TAMPA, Fla. – Marilyn Grace Bickford, 60, of 125 Main St., Lisbon Falls, died Sunday, May 14, at Tampa General Hospital, with her family by her side.

Marilyn was born in Reading, England, on March 12, 1946, the daughter of Albert and Anita Terrar Chandler. She was educated in English schools.

On May 25, 1979, she married Calvin F. Bickford.

She worked for several years at Goodyear Tire Company in Australia, retiring in 1979.

Marilyn was a gifted artist and enjoyed sharing her talent with others. Her hobbies included gardening, taking drives along the coast and her beloved pets, Chancey, Sheba and Lucky. She also enjoyed traveling, and her favorite places to travel were England and Australia. Marilyn also enjoyed music, especially playing the piano. Her greatest pleasure in life, however, was the time she spent with her family and grandchildren.
