Marilyn T. Macomber
TINTON FALLS, N.J. — Marilyn Tutty Macomber, 83, of Seabrook Village, Tinton Falls, N.J., died Friday, April 30, at home.
Born in Wilton to the late W. Nelson and Helena C. Tutty, she graduated from Wilton Academy in 1944. She married Norman Macomber in 1950, traveling the globe during Norman’s U.S. Navy service, finally settling in Toms River where together they raised three children. She was employed at G.H. Bass Co., Community Medical Center and retired from the Toms River Regional Board of Education in 1991. She was a member of the National and Regional Chapters of the Naval Weather Service Association.
Surviving is her husband of 59 years, Norman; two sons, Scot Macomber and his wife, Laura, of Manasquan, N.J., and Dale Macomber of Tinton Falls, N.J.; daughter, Kelly Gall and her husband, Gene, of Ocean Township, N.J. She is also survived by her grandsons, Christopher Macomber and his wife, Jodi, of Toms River, N.J., Sean and William Macomber of Manasquan, and Conover Gall of Ocean Township; two great grandchildren, Isabelle and Jacob Macomber of Toms River; one sister, Carol Judkins and her husband, Gene; and her dear sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen and Alvin (Mac) McDonald, all of Wilton; and several nieces and nephews.
