MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo. – Melissa Lee McInnis and Wesley Brian Eberlin were united in marriage on July 18 by the uncle of the bride, Robert J. Brown of Jacksonville, Fla. The garden-side wedding ceremony was held outside the Briarhurst Manor in Manitou Springs, Colo. The reception was held inside the Briarhurst Manor.

The bride is the daughter of Timothy James and Brenda Lee McInnis of Rumford and the granddaughter of Rose McInnis and the late John McInnis of Rumford. She is also the granddaughter of the late Kenneth and Sadie Brown of Mexico.

The bridegroom is the son of Deborah Culbertson and Gary Eberlin of Springfield, Mo.

The bride wore a strapless gown embellished with Australian pearls and crystals and she carried a yellow bouquet of Calla lilies. She was escorted down the aisle by her father and given away by her parents.

The maid of honor was Kathleen Albert, a long time friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Malinda McKinnon, a long time friend of the bride, and Karen Hampton and Kira Oreol, friends of the bride.

The best man was Wade Eberlin, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Timothy John McInnis (T.J.), brother of the bride, and Chris Donze and Mike Hickman, long-time friends of the bridegroom.

The couple honeymooned on the islands of Hawaii. They are currently residing in Columbus, Ohio.

The bride is a 1997 graduate of Mountain Valley High School and a 2002 graduate of the University of New England of Science and Medicine, having a master’s degree in physical therapy.

The bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Glendale High School in Springfield, Mo. He is a 2004 graduate of the University of Missouri, having a master’s degree in physical therapy.

They are both employed at Ohio State Medical Center as physical therapists.
