GRAY — Visitors will be able to meet and have their photos taken with “real” fairies; then make and take home their own small fairy house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, at the Maine Wildlife Park.
Fairy houses and gardens are popular with children today. Bring the kids to meet and have photos taken with some “real” fairies, then work with all natural materials to create miniature fairy habitats to take home.
Weekend events will continue through late summer and into fall, including the annual Rick Charette Concert, Northwoods Law Day and Halloweenfest.
The park is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission is free for ages 3 and under; $5.50 ages 4-12; $7.50 for adults; and $5.50 for seniors.
