AUBURN — Community Little Theatre’s mid-year membership meeting will feature two short comedies starring a cast of 12 seasoned CLT performers. The meeting, called by CLT’s Board President Karen Martin Mayo, will convene at 7 p.m. Monday, April 19, at the Great Falls Center for the Arts, 30 Academy St.
The public is invited to attend the meeting to watch “Challenge of Bureaucracy” and “My Brother Victor,” which will be presented by the company’s Senior Readers Theater. Members of the ensemble include Al Farrington, Lu Farrington, Bob Gardner, Janet Gibson, Joel Goodman, Rachel Morin, Barbara Randall, Pearl Sawyer, June Spear, Linda Jackson-Washburn, Judy Webber and Naomi York.
Gibson, Morin, Randall and both Farringtons have appeared in CLT productions in recent years.
Anyone who is not a current member of CLT may become one or renew upon arriving at the meeting. Annual membership dues range from $6 for students to $20 for families. An individual can become a member for $10 a year.
The Senior Readers Theatre group was formed in the in spring of 2009 and completed a tour of nursing homes, assisted living and senior housing residences in the fall of 2009. They are now in rehearsal and will kickoff their second tour at Monday’s meeting. They will continue to present monthly performances through mid-June.
