MEXICO – The Police Department responded to 43 incidents in the past week, including the following:

Suspicious activity:

* Police Chief Roy Hodsdon said the department has received three complaints about a group of people walking down the street at night with backpacks and looking into people’s vehicles.

“We just want to remind people to keep their vehicles and homes locked, and to report any suspicious activity that they witness,” he said.


* Police responded to reports of assaults Feb. 14 and 15 at Tommy Gun’s Bar. Hodsdon said two males were assaulted about three hours apart. Both received minor injuries. The cases are under investigation.
