MEXICO — The following incidents were handled recently by the Mexico Police Department.
Burglaries and thefts
A spokesperson for Lincare Inc. reported at 6:23 a.m., March 2, that someone had entered the Porter Bridge Road business and took a safe with its undisclosed contents valued at $100.
A Main Street resident reported at 10:07 p.m., March 8, that someone had taken two baby strollers valued at $250, from her porch.
A Holman Avenue resident reported at 12:44 p.m., March 14, that someone had entered the home and took two narcotic prescriptions valued at about $300.
A Granite Street resident reported at 9:37 p.m., March 9, that someone attempted to break into his residence through a back door. The suspect was described as having blond hair and wearing light colored jeans and a dark shirt. If anyone has any information, they are asked to call the Mexico Police Department at 364-5686.
Someone vandalized a residence on Pleasant Street prior to the report made at 6:45 p.m., March 12. A pellet gun was used to damage six garage windows and one house window with a total value of $1,000.
Maureen Parker, 24, of Howe Street, Lewiston, was arrested on Route 2 near Coulthard’s Pool, for failure to appear on an assault charge. She was released from the Mexico Police Department on $250 cash bail.
