MODA names Jackson VP


BRUNSWICK – The Maine Oil Dealers Association recently announced the hiring of Chris Jackson as vice president.

Jackson, of Bowdoinham, will provide legislative, regulatory, public policy and member services advice and assistance to the members of the MODA.

Most recently, Jackson managed the gubernatorial campaign of Sen. Chandler Woodcock. Prior to that, he served as the communications manager for Pierce Atwood Consulting, a public affairs and governmental relations consulting group in Portland and Portsmouth, N.H.

He has also served as a communications director and special assistant at the Maine Legislature, where he coordinated media-related and public policy efforts for the president of the Maine Senate.
