Morris qualifies for House race


TURNER — Josh Morris of Turner has qualified for the ballot and will be running in the Republican primary on June 8 for the Maine House of Representatives for District 96, which includes Turner, Minot and Hebron.

Morris is an alumni of Leavitt Area High School and the University of Southern Maine. He is currently a real estate agent with ERA Worden Realty in Auburn. He has been a member of the SAD 52 board, served as a volunteer basketball coach with the Turner Athletic Association and is a member of Nezinscot Masonic Lodge in Turner.
