Morse overpowers Oxford Hills


SOUTH PARIS – Abby Miller scored three goals to help Morse to a 11-2 victory over Oxford Hills in girls’ lacrosse action Saturday.

Nanessa Brooks, Tori Haooett and Cecilla Riellman scored two goals apiece for Morse (1-0). Goalkeeper Brittany Alexander made 14 saves for the Shipbuilders.

The Vikings (0-1) were led by Kari Pelletier, who scored both of their goals.

Hebron 12, Hyde 7

HEBRON – Maddy Campbell scored four goals to lead Hebron to a 12-7 win over Hyde in girls’ lacrosse.

Hebron took a 5-3 lead at the half. Taylor Fey and K.J. Forand scored three goals apiece for Hebron. Opel Fleishman led all scorers with five goals for Hyde.

Steph Roy had eight saves for Hebron, while Rachel Dennis had 14 stops for Hyde in the losing effort.


Proctor 15, Hebron 7

HEBRON – Proctor rallied for 10 runs in the home half of the seventh to grab a 15-7 victory from Hebron in baseball action Saturday.

Hebron (0-1) jumped out to a 3-1 lead in the first, and Proctor (1-0) tied up the game in the second. The game was tied again in the third and sixth innings before Proctor exploded for 10 runs in the final frame.

Greg Gumbs had a double for Hebron, while Mitch Green notched a double for Proctor.
