Returning athletes: Seniors — Tom Marshall, Andrew Haszko, Tristin McFarlane, Shain Heap, Emiliano Flores; Juniors — Joe Crandall, Alden Thompson-Vought; Sophomores — Chris Marshall, Ryan Haszko, Zack Gunther, Mick Gurney.

Key losses: Steven Minns, Dylan Roberts, Evan Backus, Alex Bunnell.

Key newcomers: Senior — Cole Dorman; Sophomore — Caleb Hodgdon; Freshmen — Aubrey Hoes, Xander Platt.

Season outlook: Mt. Blue looks to build on a strong 2016 and compete for a title in the competitive Class A North again this season. The Cougars lost their top four players from a year ago and will look to Tom Marshall, Tristin McFarlane and Andrew Haszko for leadership and experience. Marshall and Haszko are expected to battle each other for the top two spots on team, and there will be stiff competition for the rest of the starting spots. The Cougars will rely on their depth to be successful.
