Lewiston: Ned J. Beaulieu, 83, of 102 Campus Ave., died Sunday May 2, at d’Youville Pavilion with his family by his side.

He was born in Grand Isle, ME on January 7, 1927 the son of Levite and Emma (Beaulieu) Beaulieu. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served his country during World War II.

On July 3, 1948 he married Carmen Y. Robert.

Ned worked for many years as a bricklayer at the Yarmouth Brickyard and at the Libby Mill and also.

Ned was a true family man and loved his family dearly and he enjoyed having his own farm and raising animals in Turner.

He was a member of the Basilica of Sts.Peter & Paul and a longtime member of the Amercian Legion in Lewiston.

He is survived by his wife Carmen Y. Beaulieu of Lewiston; sons Denis of Mechanic Falls, Robert of CA. and David of Turner; daughters Patty Roy of Turner and Suzanne Faucher of CT; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; he also leaves 3 completely devoted siblings Carmen Beaulieu of Lisbon Falls, Joseph “Sonny” of Lewiston and John of CT; two special people, Robert St. Amand and Roland Roy; and by many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by brothers Nazaire, Camile, Eustache and Richard and sisters Lorette McKeene and Marilda Cyr.

BEAULIEU: Ned J., 83, of Lewiston died in Lewiston on May 2, 2010. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11AM at the DOSTIE FUNERAL HOME 2151 Lisbon Road, Lewiston. Graveside committal services will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6 to 8PM. Flowers are acceptable and those who wish may make donations to the d’Youville Pavilion Activities Fund 102 Campus Ave., Lewiston 04240.
