‘Nelson’ is a road hazard

This is in regard to the May 22 article titled “By the road again,” a story about a dog at the Nezinscot Farm in Turner. I drive past the farm several times a week. This dog is not funny or amusing. He is a road hazard.

When a car drives by, he darts out, startling anyone driving. He used to run back and forth beside the road, and I thought he was going to run right in front of my car.

Apparently there hasn’t been an accident yet, but I think there will be. There have been several times where I thought about stopping or calling the animal control officer.

“Willie Nelson” is going to cause an accident one day. Hopefully, people won’t think the situation is cute or funny then. Hopefully, no one gets seriously injured – including my children and myself.
