An Auburn police officer talks to a motorist who got stuck in the middle of Goff Hill in Auburn early Monday afternoon. After several passes by public works plows and a heavy layer of sand, the motorist was able to make it up. However, at 2:50 p.m., police were being dispatched to the hill as several cars were unable to make it up and sideways. Other scanner traffic reports of vehicle accidents and stuck vehicles were coming in more frequently as the snow began to change to a mix of freezing rain and sleet.
