Oxford Hills Chapter 5297 AARP recently held a food drive assisted by Ron Morse and the Rotary, the Uptown Cruzahs represented by Julie and Ed Day. The drive collected 1,171 pounds of food for the local food pantry. At their Christmas party the AARP hosted Ron Morse and his wife Julie and Ed Day and Beth Rice, director of the food pantry. Joyce Stevens, left, AARP chapter treasurer, presented Rice with a check in the amount of $1,000 to help keep the shelves full to meet the needs of the community.
