Stacie Hanes with the National Weather Service’s Gray office said Houlton checked in at 14 inches, New Limerick 13 inches and Bridgton 13.6.

Bangor accumulated just over eight inches, Haines said, while Portland saw around 10 inches. Caribou and Presque Isle checked in at eight inches apiece.

Flights at Bangor International Airport are taking off without a hitch Wednesday, with no cancellations reported. Three early-morning flights at Portland International Jetport — a 6 a.m. departure to Newark, a 7 a.m. flight to Detroit and an 8 a.m. flight to Charlotte — were all canceled, but no other cancellations have been reported.

The winter-ending snowstorm started falling Tuesday morning and lasted through the evening hours and into Wednesday morning.
