Coach: Tony Stevens (sixth year)
Last year's record: 11-15 in dual meets
Returning athletes: Seniors — Jake Hall (132), Dustin Edwards (285); Junior — Jon Hankey (126); Sophomores — Cordell Brooks (113), Malik Geiger (160). Edward Little wrestler: Junior — Sheldon Bang (145).
Key loss: Justin Cummings (220).
Promising newcomers: Junior — Josh Little (195); Sophomore — Jeff Merrill (170); Freshman — Kyle Dexter (138). Edward Little wrestlers: Skyler Bang (138), Mike Williams (182), Matt Adams (195).
Outlook: The Vikings lost only one wrestler to graduation, and the total number of athletes has nearly doubled to 24. That should give Oxford Hills the depth to achieve its goals of finishing above .500 and in the top half of the KVAC. Hankey and co-captain Edwards placed in the top four of the conference meet a year ago. Little's return from an injury that wiped out his sophomore season will provide added boost.
Coach's comment: "We qualified three kids for states last year. We'd like to improve on that." — Coach Tony Stevens
